Merrimack Design created sensitive new additions and comprehensive alterations that restore the integrity of an original mid-century modern home in a dramatic country setting. Details include a new kitchen terrace shielded by a bris-soleil above a master bedroom addition, new exterior tongue and groove siding, new Duratherm windows, and a cantilever steel and glass stair in the foyer.
The house reflects the owner’s passion for modern architecture and motor racing.
